The excitement was palpable as we, the Projek Travel team, arrived at LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort for the highly anticipated Monster Party. Running from October 3rd to November 3rd, 2024, this annual Brick-or-Treat extravaganza promised a month of spooky fun, and we were ready to dive into the Halloween madness! Hosted by the LEGO® Monster All-Stars—Franky, Zombie Cheerleader, Green Witch, and Lord Vampire—the park had transformed into a magical, eerie wonderland filled with ghostly delights.
Monster Party Kicks Off!
From the moment we stepped into the Beginning Area, we were greeted by an energetic atmosphere. Music blared, colorful lights flashed, and the crowd’s excitement grew as the monsters took to the stage for the “Welcome to the Monster Party” opening show. We couldn’t help but dance along to "Franky, I'm Alive" and get into the Halloween spirit with the Zombie Cheer Squad. The festive vibe was contagious, and we felt right at home among the LEGO monsters.
Into the Heart of Halloween
As we ventured deeper into the park, the Halloween magic intensified. We made our way to the Castle Stage for "The Witches Tales", where we were treated to a spooky storytelling session. The atmosphere in the Castle Courtyard was equally mesmerizing with the V.I.M (Very Important Monsters) Show—a must-see for those who love creepy thrills.
On Fridays and Saturdays, the park's energy reached new heights as the Monster Flash Mob made surprise appearances, performing unannounced dances that caught us—and everyone around us—off guard in the best way possible. It added a spontaneous element of fun to our experience, reminding us that Halloween is all about the unexpected.
Trick-or-Treat and Scavenger Hunts Galore
There’s plenty of fun in between the shows! Follow the Monster Street Candy Trail to collect sweet treats in your Brick-or-Treat bags. Plus, help the Green Witch find her missing potion ingredients in a fun Scavenger Hunt and win a special prize when you collect them all!
For those who love to build, LEGOLAND’s Monster Party offers endless opportunities to flex your creativity. At the Monsta Mausoleum, we built our own LEGO monsters and added our scariest creations to the LEGO Creepy Wall mosaic. The creativity didn’t stop there! We also visited the Pumpkin Patch, where we contributed to the Halloween centerpiece by building LEGO pumpkins—a truly unique touch to the Halloween festivities.
Costume Contest Magic

No Halloween event would be complete without a Costume Contest, and LEGOLAND’s version certainly did not disappoint. With categories like Best Family Costume, Most Creative Costume, and Most Monster-est Costume, the competition was fierce, and the creativity on display was mind-blowing. We cheered on the participants as they strutted their stuff, all while secretly planning our costumes for next year!
Mischief, Mayhem, and More Fun
Aside from the performances and creative activities, there were plenty of other thrilling experiences to enjoy. We tested our strength at the Pinata Bash in Castle Courtyard, where the challenge was to break a Jack-o-Lantern pinata filled with even more candy.
At the Beginning Area, we joined in the Jamming Jack guitar game and had a blast playing the Reaper Dunk Challenge. The interactive games added an element of playfulness to the day, and we even traded some LEGO Minifigures for special Halloween-themed ones—a souvenir we’ll cherish!
A Spooky Stay at LEGOLAND Hotel and SEA LIFE Malaysia
As if the fun at the park wasn’t enough, LEGOLAND’s Spooky Boo Mission took the Halloween spirit into the LEGOLAND Hotel. Friendly monsters roamed the halls, and we loved the hunt to find them all—it made our stay even more immersive.
We also paid a visit to SEA LIFE Malaysia, where we were greeted by Underwater Skeletons and the playful Spooky Witch Sharkie. The undersea world had been given a Halloween twist, and the combination of marine life and spooky décor was a memorable experience.

We left with smiles, tons of candy, and a treasure trove of memories that will last long after the Halloween season ends.
